West Bengal is a state in eastern India that stretches from the Himalayas in the north to the Bay of Bengal in the south. Its capital, Kolkata, has long been one of the country's great centres of learning and culture. Every year, lakhs of students in the state appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.

School education in West Bengal is run by two boards:

  • West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) conducts the Madhyamik Pariksha, the secondary examination for Class 10.

  • West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) conducts the Higher Secondary (HS) examination for Class 12 in the Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

WBCHSE has introduced a semester system for Higher Secondary, so HS results can be declared for semester examinations as well as the annual examination.

On iResults, you can check the WBBSE Madhyamik and WBCHSE HS results as soon as they are declared, along with result dates, exam routines, and the latest board news. Results here are for quick reference; always verify your marks with the official marksheet from your board or school.
