Meghalaya is a hill state in northeast India, made up of the Garo, Khasi and Jaintia Hills, with Shillong as its capital. Every year, a large number of students in the state appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.
School education in Meghalaya is run by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), set up under the Meghalaya Board of School Education Act, 1973. The board has its headquarters in Tura and a branch office in Shillong. MBOSE conducts two board exams:
SSLC: the Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination for Class 10.
HSSLC: the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination for Class 12, in the Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams.
HSSLC results are declared stream-wise, so the Arts result and the Science, Commerce and Vocational results can come out on different dates.
On iResults, you can check MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC results once they are declared, along with result dates, exam routines and board news. Results here are for quick reference; always verify your marks with the official marksheet from your board or school.
