MBOSE HSSLC Form Fill-Up 2027

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) started online filling of examination forms for the HSSLC (Class XII) Examination 2027 on 26 October 2026. Examination centres and schools can log in to the board's examination portal and submit the forms.

The portal will close on 24 November 2026 for all categories. Applications are accepted until 30 November 2026 with a late fine of ₹400 per candidate. The schedule of the examination will be notified later.

Exam Name: Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2027

Class: Class 12

Board: Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), Tura

Who Fills the Form: Candidates do not apply on their own. Schools fill the forms of Regular-I and Regular-II candidates through the School Login. Examination centres fill the forms of Improvement, Compartmental, Non-Regular and Private candidates through the Centre Login, from where the candidates appeared last.

Form Fill-Up Window: 26 October to 24 November 2026.

Late Fine: ₹400 per candidate for all categories, up to 30 November 2026.

Default Password: Hsslc@2026. The password must be changed after the first login.

Registration: Candidates who have not registered with the board will not be allowed to appear. Registration numbers are permanent for those registered in 2010 or later. Candidates registered before 2010 must revalidate their registration.

Compartmental and Improvement: Compartmental candidates (failed in three subjects or fewer) get two chances, after which they must appear as Non-Regular. Improvement is open to candidates who passed the HSSLC Examination 2026, with one chance in the next examination.

Private Candidates: Arts stream only.

Environmental Education Grade: The grade of all regular candidates must be entered in the form once the internal assessment is completed.

PWD Candidates: Differently-abled candidates are exempted from the examination fee and must provide their UDID. Hearing-impaired candidates are exempted from MIL or Alternative English.

MBOSE HSSLC Examination Fee 2027

The fee covers the examination fee, document fee, and centre fee of ₹300. Each practical subject adds ₹220 (₹100 to the board and ₹120 to the centre).

Practical Fee: Charged only for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Anthropology, Home Science, Computer Science and Informatics Practices. It is not required for candidates whose practical marks are carried forward.

How to Fill Up MBOSE HSSLC Form 2027?

The form is filled online by the principal or head of the institution. Keep the registration number of each student ready, along with the previous roll number for Improvement, Compartmental and Non-Regular candidates.

1. Open the Application Form link from the Important Links section below and choose School Login (Regular-I and II) or Centre Login (Improvement, Compartmental, Non-Regular and Private).

2. Select the district, school or centre ID and session 2026-2027, then enter the default password and the captcha. Set a new password when asked.

3. Go to Student Information and search the student. Use the registration number and year for Regular and Private candidates, and the previous roll number and year for Improvement, Compartmental and Non-Regular candidates.

4. Fill in the student details, click Preview, tick the agreement box and click Submit. Use Edit to correct any mistake before submitting.

5. Open Student Checklist, select the students and click Generate Checklist. Then go to Pending for Fees Generation and click Generate Fees. Student details cannot be changed after the fees are generated.

6. Open Make Payment and click Pay Now to pay online. After payment, download the Consolidated List and the Statement of Examinee.

Note: The centre fee of ₹300 per candidate and the practical fee of ₹120 per subject are retained and deposited with the centre. The Annexure can be printed from the Make Payment page.
