The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Division-I has announced the online form fill-up for the HSLC Examination 2027 through a notification dated 3 October 2026. Schools must fill up the forms of their candidates on the online examination portal from 12 October to 10 November 2026. Payment can be made online or by SBI challan until 12 November 2026, and corrections to the online checklist are allowed until 19 November 2026. Subjects cannot be corrected after that date.

Who Fills the Form: The school where the candidate did the Class IX registration. No candidate can fill up the form from another school unless the registration has been transferred.

Portal Login: Schools use the same User ID and Password as the Class IX Registration Portal. If these are lost, the school should contact the Member Secretary, Regional Office, ASSEB (Div-I) of its district.

Form Fill-Up Window: 12 October to 10 November 2026.

Payment: Through SBI online mode or an SBI challan generated from the portal. Online payment and challan generation close on 12 November 2026, and the challan must be deposited at any SBI branch by 16 November 2026.

Checklist Correction: Corrections to the online checklist can be uploaded until 19 November 2026. Subject correction will not be allowed after this date.

Bank Details: Every candidate's bank details must be given during the form fill-up.

Eligibility: Candidates who did not appear in any of the Class 10 internal examinations (Unit Tests and Half Yearly Examination) cannot sit in the HSLC Examination 2027.

Annual Recognition Fee: Every institution must also pay ₹1,000.

Internal Assessment Marks: The portal for entering IA marks opens on 14 December 2026. The link will be notified later.

HSLC Exam Fee Exemption

Basis: Government of Assam Notification No. E-238074/869 dated 14 November 2025.

Who Is Exempted: Candidates of Government, Provincialised and recognised venture schools whose parental annual income from all sources is ₹4 lakh or below, and who registered in Class IX in 2024 or 2025.

How to Apply: Parents or guardians must file an application with the Head of the Institution, who must verify the documents before allowing the exemption.

Tree Photograph: The candidate must give a photograph of the present status of the tree planted at the time of Class IX admission.

Not Allowed: Candidates registered in one school while studying in another do not get the exemption, even from a low-income family. If such an exemption is found later, the result will be withheld and action will be taken against the Head of the Institution.

How to Fill Up HSLC Form 2027?

Candidates do not apply on their own. The school fills up the form on the online examination portal with its Class IX registration login.

1. Open the Online Form Fill-Up link from the Important Links section below.

2. Log in with the school's Class IX Registration Portal User ID and Password.

3. Enter each candidate's details, including subjects and bank details.

4. Pay the fee through SBI online mode, or generate an SBI challan and deposit it at any SBI branch with the fee.

5. Check the online checklist and upload any corrections by 19 November 2026.
